THE JUNGLE PROJECT

The Jungle Project is a Rogue-lite dungeon crawler game. The player is a mercenary who was hired by the government to investigate a jungle island that has been infected with a mutagen that has affected the jungle as a whole. Meet the various people around the jungle and fight the mutant animals to collect their blood that needs to be researched by the shopkeeper. Hand in those blood vials in exchange for new guns and upgrades to explore deeper into the jungle to find just who or what is responsible for this island's mutant wildlife and mysterious appearance.

Developer Notes

The Jungle Project was a project that was designed is approximately 3 months time and was comprised of three college student developers. Our goal was to create a game that was fun and enjoyable for both us and anyone who would be playing it since we all have a passion for games. This was our final project in our course to showcase our skills that we learned with our time at school. Install instructions

To download on Windows open the ".zip file" and extract it. Then run the executable, to play the game.

To download on Mac open the ".zip file" and extract it. Then run the executable, to play the game.

IF THIS ERROR HAPPENS ON MacOSx FILE

1) Add executable bit to the executable:

chmod +x Downloads/The\ Jungle\ Project.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Jungle\ Project

2) Remove quarantine attributes:

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarentine Downloads/The\ Jungle\ Project.app

3) Remove all Extended Attributes from all the files in a directory:

-rc /Users/(User Name)/Downloads/The\ Jungle\ Project.app

IF AN ERROR CONTINUES...
4) Disable Gatekeeper

sudo spctl --master-disable

5) Then navigate to:

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Allow apps downloaded from:

6) Enable the button labeled:
